Medlock Bridge vs St Ives-6/10
Good Evening Barracudas!
Meet #3 at St. Ives….here we go! We ask that all athletes, first shift volunteers and bullpen volunteers arrive by 4:30pm. Below are some helpful reminders to make sure the meet runs smoothly.
1. Please use the St Ives Club entrance (directly across from the Egg Harbor Restaurant) on Medlock Bridge/141 heading south towards State Bridge Rd. There is no security at this entrance. After you enter the gates, the pool parking lot is the second turn on the left.
1 St Ives Country Club Drive
Duluth, GA 30097
2. Parking will be permitted at the clubhouse and along the road behind the tennis courts.
3. Medlock Bridge bullpen is reserved under the pavilion closest to the playground. In addition, we can utilize the space behind the pavilion. St Ives does reserve the tables in front of the pavilion for their 13 & Up bullpen.
4. The pool deck is set-up with chairs for spectators but parents may wish to bring their own chairs to ensure sufficient seating. As always, it is a great idea to also bring plenty of bug spray and sunscreen.
5. Medlock Bridge Team warm up time will be from 5:00-5:25pm. The meet is scheduled to start promptly at 5:30pm.
6. Swimmers are allowed to dive in from both ends of the pool during relays.
7. St Ives Cabana will have a modified food and drink menu available for purchase. NO OUTSIDE FOOD OR DRINKS ARE PERMITTED. ST IVES COUNTRY CLUB WILL STRONGLY ENFORCE THIS RULE. Please make sure you utilize the St Ives Cabana as we would want the same support with our Cuda Cafe during home meets. It would probably be a good idea to bring small bills to use at the Cabana.
8. Dippin’ dots will be for sale for $4, Cash Only.
9. As always, we do expect our athletes and parents to treat St Ives personnel and property with the most respect. Be courteous, be supportive and always show the highest level of sportsmanship. We are representing Medlock Bridge and our entire community.
A swim line up will be sent by Thursday morning! If you have any questions please do not hesitate to ask. We are looking forward to a fun and successful first meet. See you at the pool!
GO CUDAS GO!!!
