First Meet - Medlock Bridge at Shakerag!

    Good morning Barracudas!

Tomorrow, Thursday, June 1st is our first away meet at Shakerag! (We also have practice tomorrow morning.) We ask that all athletes, first shift volunteers and bullpen volunteers arrive by 4:30pm. Please make sure your athlete arrives with their arm marked for their event. (Watch this tutorial for instructions: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=G5wC8Z3PRKQ ) Below are some helpful reminders to make sure the meet runs effectively.

    1. There are two entrances to the pool. Parents can park in the Laurelwood subdivision or Devonhall subdivision. Please ask do not park on the side that states NO PARKING. The Laurelwood entrance is off McGinnis Ferry on Quailbrook Chase. We highly encourage families to carpool if they can to help cut down on congestion.

    7220 Devonhall Way

    Johns Creek, GA 30097

    2. Medlock Bridge bullpen is reserved in the large grass field that is next to the pool. Seating will be allowed for spectators on the pool deck, but no seating along the shorter ends. Additional parent seating is reserved in the grass area next to the pool. As always, it is a great idea to bring plenty of bug spray and sunscreen.

    3. Medlock Bridge Team warm up time will be from 5:00-5:25pm. The meet is scheduled to start promptly at 5:30pm.

    4. A timers meeting will be held at 5:15pm. The ASA official will call for the meeting prior to the meet.

    5. Concessions are available and will offer pizza, chips, drinks, and candy. Please make sure you utilize the Shakerag concessions, as we would want the same support with our Cuda Cafe during home meets. Additionally, there will be a homemade kettle corn vendor and Kona Ice truck. Concessions is CASH ONLY! It would probably be a good idea to bring small bills.

    6. As always, we do expect our athletes and parents to treat Shakerag personnel and property with the most respect. Be courteous, be supportive and always show the highest level of sportsmanship. We are representing Medlock Bridge and our entire community. Make sure you clean up all trash!

If you have any questions please do not hesitate to ask. We are looking forward to a fun and successful first meet.

    See you at the pool!
